LERA's aim is to promote the shooting, collection, conservation and study of the Lee Enfield series of rifles.
Established 20 years ago by our Life President Paul Quilliam and a group of Enfield enthusiasts, the association now has over 200 members in the UK and is associated with many other clubs and organisations worldwide who share our passion for Enfield rifles. Most of our members are collectors of Enfield and other military rifles.
We are affiliated to the National Rifle Association and hold regular meetings and shoots at the National Shooting Centre at Bisley, as well as the MOD Ash Vale Ranges complex just outside Aldershot.
Each year, LERA mounts competitions that focus on Historic Service Rifles.
We also have sections that specialise in Target Rifle, Transitional Rifles (7.62mm), Service Rifle (b) and Small Bore.
Membership is just £40 per year for standard members, and just £30 for those over 65 or under 25.
We welcome shooters and collectors and offer training courses for those new to shooting.
